President Bush’s top counterterrorism advisers acknowledged Tuesday that the strategy for fighting Osama bin Laden’s leadership of Al Qaeda in Pakistan had failed, as the White House released a grim new intelligence assessment that has forced the administration to consider more aggressive measures inside Pakistan

One would think that by now the administration and congress would realize that there is no deal making with the ragheads. Fighting terrorist in Pakistan ain' gonna work until the Pakistani government decides that the only good fundamental Muslim is adead fundamental Muslim. And this just ain't gonna happen because the government of Pakistan is shaky at best and appears to be controlled by the Islamists.

The answer? Hell, I don't know.But I do know that playing footsies with those who are in cahoots wth those who want to bring down our way of life is not the answer. I also know that sometimes if it don't fit the best solution is a bigger hammer..a BFH! Which for the naive readers means BIG FUCKING HAMMER.
