is what is wrong with public education. Now look, I don't really care that 'Daniel has two Dads.' But that ain't the point.

Public schools were started in this country even before we became a country and funded by the local residents for one reason..to teach children the " 3 Rs". For some reason beyond me the public school systems have decided that social engineering should be done in the school. Now I have no problem with teaching children to get along with each other..but you know the irony of it? Kids are kids and kids get along no matter what color, race, religion, or creed they happen to be. Put five kids of five different nationalities on a playground by themselves and these five kids will find a way to get along and play together. It is the adults who have the problems..and yeah, the adults teach their children.

But who do you want to teach your children the social values you want instilled in them? You or a left wing school teacher? I think it is time that public schools went back to teaching little Daniel to read and write and quit worrying about his two Dads being accepted as a normal family.
