THIS IS BEGINNING TO PISS ME OFF! Not that the dim-a-crits are still trying to steal us blind in the name of "It's for the kids"...but this:

The White House showed some movement yesterday. Leavitt said the president is willing to relax his opposition to covering children between twice and three times the poverty level if states meet a "rigorous standard" demonstrating that they have done all they can to enroll more lower-income children.

I have this idea that might satisfy the dim-a-crits..lets just pass a law that doctors have to treat children free of charge as a condition of getting a license to practice medicine. Then, we can pass another one that says that lawyers have to handle cases for poor people free of charge. Hell, why not just make everything free of charge for everybody..do away with money and while we are at it outlaw that dreaded four letter word W O R K! Just pass anther law that requires the preachers to get us our manna from heaven...GOOD GOD GIRTY WHAT A GASH! When will we get a prez with balls?

I saw this morning that a bare majority of CHRYSLER UAW MEMBERS recognize that if they vote 'no' on the new contract they may be out of a job. It is good that there are some that have a little bit of sense..

But Charles Xerri, 32, who supported the contract, said he was fearful about actions Chrysler and its new owner, the private equity firm Cerberus Capital Management, might take if the contract fails. “I’m worried that we won’t have a job at all,” said Mr. Xerri, who has worked at Chrysler for 12 years. “You never know what they could do.”

Yep, Mr. Xerri, the new owners might just shut the whole operation down and sell out to Toyota...

Okay..I think that's gonna be my rants for the day..I don't want my blood pressure to soar before I go in this afternoon where they are gonna check and see if I have a heart...hey..I found a new site that has some funnies on it..I am going to explore it some and maybe find some for ya...y'all come back, heah?
