I saw this from Joe Biden yesterday but needed to sleep on it before I commented on it.

"Joe Biden told Democratic fundraisers Sunday night that there is no doubt in his mind a crisis will occur during Barack Obama's first six months in office that will test his mettle and force him to make unpopular decisions."

Yeah, there is no doubt in my mind that the crises will be an artificial one and the decision will be one that will suspend free speech and make a grab for our guns. But I would have figured that Hussein and Joe would wait at least a year before inciting the revolution...

Looks like the courts are still arguing about the right to own guns. But the main point of the second amendment..and the primary reason that the various states insisted upon it before they would ratify the constitution..is never mentioned by the judges. They are educated men and women and they know why just as I do..the second amendment is to insure that the public has a way to protect itself FROM GOVERNMENT and judges who legislate law.

The Constitution of these United States is not a LIVING document..subject to change and/or interpretation at the will of congress or judges. The framers of the constitution realized that it might need changing at times..thus the inclusion of Article V that provides for amendments.

The amendment process has been used successfully 27 times..the first ten before the constitution was ratified and adopted by the nation as our canon. If in fact the nation wants a change in the constitution then the provision is there to change it! However, judges understand that the nation is reluctant (or at least has been in the past) to modify the constitution and they know that much of their judgments would not past muster by the public if put to vote under Article V of the constitution...and that is why we have legislation from the bench.

I make no claim to being a constitutional expert..but I do know how to read. And I have read the constitution...many times. And I would like to point out Article II, section four...

"The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors."

I consider legislation from judge's bench treason and a high crime.

Okay, enough of my opinions for now..I get in my pulpit and do some serious preachin' when I get on the subject of judges. You see, if you look up justice in an English dictionary it refers you to 'fair' and when you try to find the definition of fair it says it is synonymous with 'just'...in short an abstract concept based on subjective logic. The Constitution of the USA is an objective document..and when it is followed...as written without left wing...nor right wing..interpretations the country progresses along very well, thank you. Y'all come back, heah?
