People, this country fucked up...again...big time when we half stepped into war in Iraq. I foresee another blood bath....much as it was in Vietnam after American troops pulled out. My bet is that Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr, who is in the hip pockets of the Iranian mad mullahs, will send his kool ade drinkers on a rampage killing Sunni Moslems and all that oppose him...and when he has the country on its knees to him he will give it to Iran. And I'll double that bet and say that Obama will not do a gotdam thing.

Seems we have not learned a fucking thing about war since WW Two. Yeah, dropping a couple of nukes was horrible but we won the gotdam war! GOOD GAWD GIRTY WHAT A GASH! Even the ancients understood that when you went to war you went to win...not half ass fight and hope for a draw. This fight with Iraq and the rest of the raghead world is not over...hell, it probably will never be over. Islam is a militant religion whose leaders use the idea of conversion by the sword to enhance their power. The dumb shits who believe that crap in the Koran figure what the hell...paradise and virgins has to be better than fucking goats. And all we can do is help them on their way...or learn to pray to Allah. It is a gotdam crime. The American forces are the best trained and best equipped on this earth and for the most part led by able generals. Those who send these brave men and women to war and then won't let them fight to win should be locked up and put on bread and water....or maybe sent to half step into a fucking war themselves.

I have always contended that the public has short memories and the fucking politicians have selected memory loss. Seems the public has forgotten that before the dim-a-crits took congress just two and a half years ago the country had a somewhat stable economy and onl;y about a five percent unemployment rate. Once the dim-a-crits took over it has gone downhill and ain't hit bottom yet! Obama and his kool ade drinkers are dead set on bankrupting the country and business that has good sense is shutting down and converting their assets to something other than dollars or else getting the hell out of Dodge. And why not? Why stick around to let government extort what little you can earn? Ayn Rand had the right idea...when the producers quit producing the looters will have to feed on themselves...and you can see that happening right now.

Robert J. Samuelson, a Washing Post op-ed writer, seems to think that all government payments are a government welfare program. He lumps social security and medicare with welfare Mommas with a house full of rug rats and infers that retirees drawing a government pension are also welfare recips. Kinda pisses me off, ya know? I have always contended that socialable security and medicare are ponzi schemes...but at the same time all of us who receive these benefits have paid at least something into the system. Welfare? No. I consider welfare benefits to be UNEARNED benefits. I have earned every damn dollar I get from the government. Can Samuelson say the same about the project dwellers who are sponging off the tax payers? But he is right about one thing...it is now a welfare state and looks like soon to be a commie one.

It is another hot morning on sweetthing's half acre. We went out early to water the flora...trying to keep it alive until the summer monsoons start...if they start. Damn. Still gathering cherry 'maters' and have some Florida Beefsteak variety on the vines...they are big as soft balls and I may have to pull them green and 'window ripen' them. Peas are still blooming as is the okra and damn if I don't have a couple of cantaloupes turning yellow. Hope they are fit to eat.

Sweetthing allows we gotta go to the public library this morning. I reckon so...I am out of anything I wanna read. Just finished a re-read of Mitchner's "Poland". It is not one of his better works but the history in it makes it worthwhile. I think I will see if I can find some of Wilber Smith's older work...he writes some escape fiction that I can escape in...

So, reckon I'd better quaff this second mug of jumpstart and get on some 'go to town' duds. Sweetthing ain't nagging...just saying every two minutes "Ain't you ready yet?" Y'all come back, heah?
