Sunday Morning Coming Down

Lets get the important things out of the way first...I missed the lotto again last night, the Tampa Bay Chokes lost the game, and there is a hurricane named Bill looking for a place to happen out in the Atlantic. And don't forget that Tropical Storm Ana is about 90 miles off shore sending rain and thunder storms our way but looks like the bitch is gonna soak North Florida instead of us.
The headlines again today are about the health plan bill that no one understands for sure because there is not one plan to read and try to understand. But the one thing for sure that the majority of the public understands...this administration has so far fucked up everything it has touched. Moreover the public understands that Obama is trying to push this thing through without the public knowing what it is getting. And another thing for DAMN sure is that the public is rebelling and instead of listening to the public concerns the left wing is doing what it always does...personal attacks on those who refuse to roll over. If they cannot refute the message with logic they always attack the messenger.
Professor Richard Thaler writes a good article about the health care debate arguing for a public option. Most of concur that the health system needs some reform and I could agree with Thaler except for the one thing he omits...this whole thing has damn little to do with health care and a whole lot to do with more government control over our lives. If in fact Obama really wanted some reform instead of attacking the insurance companies he would be after the tort lawyers.
....................................................................................
I watched some of the PGA yesterday... Tiger Woods was not having one of his better days but was still good enough to emerge with a two stroke lead going into today's last round. My money is still on Tiger to take it.
.....................................................................................
When I was a lad there was a joke about how to recognize a preacher...he was either counting his money or buttoning up his pants. I have met very few preachers in my life that I liked and even fewer that I trusted...and scams such as this is why. But, what the hell...it is a free country and I had rather see the people give their hard earned money to a scamming preacher than the scamming Obama.

I reckon this be enough ranting for a quiet Sunday morning. Rants tire me out...it ain't even eight o'clock in the morning and I need a nap already! Maybe another mug of jumpstart will help keep em awake until at least nine. Y'all come, heah?
