The chair will probably be empty much of the day...just don't have much to say.
Not much in the news this morning although the political talk shows both right and left are abuzz about a Obama commie appointee being forced out of the administration and the Emperor forthcoming speech on health care. I am not going to do the links...but suffice it to say that Obama is at a make or break point right now. We can stop him here and have a good chance of stopping the rest of his communist agenda. If we cannot stop this bill in its tracks now and force him to slow down and pass health care reforms that is actually needed such as tort reform we will wind up with the socialist plans such as Britain where the 'catch 22' provisions leave people out to die with no care at all. Moreover if we can stop him here we can also stop the economy devastating climate change legislation as well as other programs designed to turn us into a socialist/communist state with Obama and his handlers at the helm.

I wish all of you a most pleasant labor day. It is a day that I never celebrated per se although I always enjoyed the three day weekend. I just never could bring myself to honor the labor unions that although they gave done much good for this country by the way of getting a living wage and safer working conditions they have also done tremendous harm by their greed. So sweetthing and I will have a day much as the one before and the one after.

Okra

The okra is still blooming and bearing. I am somewhat disappointed in it this year...it was a seed I had never tried before and was supposed to have been a 63 day bearing plant. Well, it was but didn't bear much...not near as much as several other varieties I have tried. Well, ya live and learn I reckon. Nothing ventured is nothing gained.

GOD GAWD GIRTY WHUT A GASH! Wall Street has no fucking shame. They will do anything that is legal to turn a buck...hmmmm this has got me to wondering. The3 gotdam health plans being kicked around include this death counseling shit...is Obama gonna cut off the medical care for those who sold out their life insurance policies and does these wall street gnomes know this? OSU Cowboys Win BIG

My Oklahoma State Cowboys beat the Georgia Bulldawgs yesterday. The OSU Cowboys are heart breakers though. In the past they cowboy up and win the big ones and then usually get thrown by a weak winded nag that anyone should be able to ride. Hpe this is not one of those years.

Sunday Morning Coming Down

And looks like Sunday morning is starting to come down HARD on the White House. 'Green Jobs' adviser Van Jones resigned yesterday after being exposed by Glen Beck, a renown talk radio host and a prime time talk show host on FOX Cable news. Van Jones is a commie. There is no doubt that he wants the overthrow of the American constitution and this country turned into a socialist state with people such as him in control.

The emperor's administration is crumbling around his ears as more and more people see what he is...and what he is is a two bit hustler with commie handlers who understood the mood against the war in Iraq and white middle class guilt and saw a way to make a grab for power. But the American people may be gullible but they ain't all got blond roots...I expect to see a lot of democrats lose their seats next fall and Obama will be lucky to last his term with getting kicked out of office for trying to overthrow the constitution. Hell, from where I sit he has already shown enough to warrant impeachment if not conviction.

It is going to be a slow day on sweetthings half acre. I need the rest...been up late for nights and getting up early for days and I am exhausted. Last night I did manage to get eight hours for the first time in probably a month. Damn diet is killing me. But I think it is better to be hungry and weak as a kitten than the alternative...I don't even know six men strong enough to carry a casket with my lard ass in it the way it was...by the way...233 #s this morning! That's 27 pounds of blubber since June third that my heart don't have to pump blood to and my aching back don't have to carry.

So, you think that the emperor's stimulus package is working, HUH. Look, even the NY Times seems to have had enough of the emperor's hope and change. In the past they were putting spin on their articles saying that the loss of ONLY 200,000 jobs was a good sing. Now they are beginning to tell it like it is.

I am pessimistic. I just don't see how it is going to get any better as long as Obama and the socialists are running the country. Obama is between a rock and a hard place now...he is still trying to blame it on Bush...but the people are starting to realize that we were in pretty good shape until the democrats took congress nearly three years ago. They are seeing that the hope and change that Obama is promising is not going to help them but instead put them under the control of a tyrannical government. He cannot possibly pay for his plans for socialism without raising taxes even higher on top wage earners as well as the middle class...the people may vote for sharing the wealth but it is not THEIR wealth that they are willing to share. And Obama knows that. He also knows that he might well be a one term president...unless he can pull a Chevez and grab hold of power so tightly we cannot shake him without a revolution.

But even though the Times is starting to slowly reflect the mood of the country the Times now any of the other left wing media is telling the public why the economy is dragging...it is the government! Look, if you were a venture capitalist and someone approached you with a brilliant business plan for a new business but wanted to borrow millions from you could you in good conscience lend it? No. Of course not..not with the Bush tax cuts about to expire, pending cap and trade legislation that would quite possible make the plans worthless because of energy costs, a quagmire of heath bill legislation which at best will increase labor costs ad at worst will force many small businesses out of business. And then consider that the Obama administration is considering a big increase in taxes for top earners and executives and the brains needed to run the new company will cost more than ever before.

Government can create jobs but governments do not create wealth except in countries where labor is forced and thus far NO government that has forced labor has had economic success. The fact is that labor will not labor without incentive and if not allowed to keep what they think is fair of their production they will produce only what they are forced to produce. And many small businesses in this country are close to the point of closing because the government is taking more from them via regulations and taxes than they earn from the business.

I have a jillion things to do during the next 19 days before we head out on our extended road trip. Blogging may be light...well, at least a lot light than usual. But I will try my best to get something up here for you to think about as well as something to laugh about. I don't call it shit and wit for nothing, ya know?

Sweething fixed me my cackleberry ration this morning and my bowl of grits. I am down to just one half liter mug of coffee...but sweetthing allows that she can make a 12 cup pot for her with the amount she uses to fix my mugfull...well fuck it...if I wanted colored water I could get it out of the hot water tap and add food color. But I am glad to report that I hit the scales this morning at 234.2...26 pounds in three months...and still have at least 10 more to go.

It is bleeding heat liberal bullshit such as this that tells me we are in deep shit in Afghanistan. The very idea of limiting air strikes in a populated area because of possibility of killing civilians is bulls hit.We are either at war or we are not. People listen...if the civilians are tolerating the Taliban in their midst than gotdamit they are part of the problem and not part of the solution.

Can you visualize where we would have been today if our allied forces were restricted from bombing population centers to take out the enemy combatants during WW Two?

Well of course the democrats are trying to indoctrinate our children ...it is called brain washing... a tactic that Hitler used in Germany when he had children turning in their parents when the parents disagreed with Hitlers agenda. Our education is already garbage in garbage out from kindergarden on up and damn few graduate from high school or even college with the ability to think for themselves...to use logic to cut through the bullshit.
Obama knows this and is making the best of it for himself. I am gald to see that there are still parents who have enough sense to see through the Obama propaganda and will keep their kids away from him. Kids like kool ade...

Support for what is now seen as Obama's war is dwindling fast. His own party doesn't support the war and many otherwise war hawks, including me, have quit supporting this war and are calling for him to either carry the fight to the Taliban or get the fuck out now.

I was in a laundry yesterday washing a indoor out door throw mat...another story. While I was waiting for it to wash I sat down outside where a number of other old men were sitting...I was wearing my boonie hat as usual one of the men committed and asked me if I was a vet...come to find out we all were vets and you that are vets know what happens when vets get together...especially Vietnam vets..war stories and politics. Well, long story short the consensus was what I wrote above...fight or run but don't just fucking stand there..and the funny part was a couple of these guys admitted they voted for Obama because they thought he was serious about getting out of Iraq and carrying the fight to the Taliban in Afghanistan...and of course ey are now sorry of the vote.

I don't have much this morning...politics raises my blood pressure BAWAHAHAHAHA. But I gotta let off the steam. Y'all come, heah?

In Business Again

Damn. If it ain't one thing it is something else. Sweetthing was working in the yard this after noon about 1:30 and managed to cut the underground cable that services my phone and computers..she called the cable guy and he got me fixed up and back running again. I was trying to use the laptop with the Verizon card connection...what a goat rope! Talk about snail mail...

I don't know why Americas should be upset about this ...hell, ACORN did it to get Obama elected....hmmmmm wonder if Obama sent them to Afghanistan to help out with that election?

According to this report from the Washington Post the Taliban is not only gaining in strength but it is "...improving its own tactics and finding gaps in the U.S. military playbook...". There have been more American and allied casualties during the past year than any year since long fight started. Now I know there are a lot of dim witted dim-a-crits who voted for Obama who can't see the correlation...so I'll explain it to you...the Taliban knows that Obama is not going to try to win. Hell he has already said there is no longer a war on terrorists...all he is doing now is keeping the military occupied in hopes that he won't wind up like a certain president of the Honduras.

Here's a message from me to you emperor Obama...If you don't have the balls to fight to win the pull up your pants and go home. From this day forward I put the death of every American fighting man and the death of every Allied fighting man killed in Afghanistan squarely on the top of your Muslim
head. And as time goes on I think you are going to find that the majority of the American peole are going to do the same...hell the majority is already polling that they don't like the way you have decided to stop the war on terrorism yet keep sending our young men into harms way...with their hands tied behind their back. And they are going to register this displeasure in the polls come November of next year.

But then I know the emperor doesn't worry about that...

















but he should be worried about it...because those supporters in the grave yards don't have guns...

Yesterday was not one of my better days. I had an appointment with my cardiac quack to go over the results of the testing he did back in the spring....I wasn't worried because he had told me that if there was anything serious he would call me immediately...and he didn't. But the tests did reveal that at sometime in the past I have had a heart attack...and the attack left some permanent damage. He allowed it was not like I was living on borrowed time and then tells me to be sure I carry them damn nitro pills. Heh...love that reassuring bedside manner. The hell of it I can't remember ever having any chest pains that I would have thought would have been a heart problem. Anyway he says this is the hand I have been dealt and how I play it out is up to me..continue on a reasonable diet and keep the blood sugar under control and maybe live a long time...or don't do it and ask for trouble. Well, I never ask for trouble...don't run from it but I ain't asking for it.

So life will go on as usual on sweetthing's half acre...except that I reckon I will try to cut the jumpstart consumption down to a half gallon a day...and maybe even think about quitting my Skoal even though the doc didn't say to...naaaa some things just ain't negotiable. I still have these plans to live to be 99 years old and get shot by a jealous husband.

So there ya got it...if you happen to notice there ain't no "Good Morning Blog World"
posts here for a couple of weeks running just have a cup of jumpstart and take a dip and think of me...and be careful of jealous husbands. Y'all come back, heah?

BIG GAME HUNTER

A big game hunter walked in the bar and bragged
to everyone about his hunting skills. The man was
undoubtedly a good shot and no one could dispute that.
But then he said that they could blindfold him and
he would recognize any animal's skin from its feel,
and if he could locate the bullet hole he would even
tell them what caliber the bullet was that killed the
animal.

The hunter said that he was willing to prove it
if they would put up the drinks, and so the bet was on.

They blindfolded him carefully and took him to his
first animal skin. After feeling it for a few moments,
he announced "Bear." Then he felt The bullet hole and
declared, "Shot with a .308 rifle." He was right.

They brought him another skin,one that someone had
in their car trunk. He took a bit longer this time
and then said, "Elk, Shot with a 7mm Mag rifle."
He was right again. Through the night, he proved his
skills again and again, every time against a round
of drinks. Finally he staggered home, drunk out of
his mind, and went to sleep.

The next morning he got up and saw in the mirror that
he had one hell of a shiner. He said to his wife,
"I know I was drunk last night, but not drunk enough
to get in a fight and not remember it. Where did I
get this blackeye?"

His wife angrily replied, "I gave it to you. You
got into bed and put your hand down my panties.
Then you fiddled around a bit and loudly announced,

"Skunk, killed with an axe."

After reading this about the emperor's plan for Afghanistan I know that I can no longer support the war there. The objective, such as it ie, seems to have been stated:

"Under the strategy described by General McChrystal and other commanders in recent weeks, the overriding goal of American and NATO forces would not be so much to kill Taliban insurgents as to make ordinary Afghans feel secure, and thus isolate the insurgents. That means using force less and focusing on economic development and good governance."

Yeah, right. The American government once again is supporting a shaky at best and quite possibly an illegitimate administration in a country undergoing a civil war. And once again American troops are put in a defensive position and apparently are not going to be allowed to what American troops are trained to do....KILL the fucking enemy.

This reeks of political posturing...an attempt by the administration to play both sides against the middle..satisfying his commie supporters while putting a snow job on those who worry about the national defense.

Once again I tell you that wars are not won when in a defensive position. The enemy will just keep whiting away until there is nothing left to whittle. Wars are won by going on the offensive...fighting to win with every weapon at disposal. Wars are won by KILLING and killing until the enemy is demoralized and submits...totally submits and is willing to do whatever in order to stop the killing.

And once again I tell you that if a public is not willing to fight a war to win then a public should never allow its leaders to go to war. If in fact the war is going to be fought from a defensive position then establish those positions where they count...on the home front to protect from invasion. Deployment should be and must be for offensive purposes...not to "make ordinary Afghans feel secure". How about making ordinary Americans feel secure instead?

About the time I think that we have gotten over the 'race card bullshit' it pops up again. Look, the fact that a half black commie who refuses to offer legitimate proof of native birth can be elected president should be enough to show that the majority of Americans no longer give a fuck about what color ones skin happens to be.
The sad shape of the American economy right now can be traced directly to the Community Reinvestment Act which Holder and his Acorn buddies used to gain power and now want to use to destroy the American economic system and force us into a new communist system. Here on sweetthing's half acre we are planning to do our damnest to spur the faltering economy. Since I can't find any precious metal to purchase locally we are getting ready to take that Jayco on the road to find some...and burn up some. I just about have the itinerary down and I will be posting/e-mailing it in a couple of days. I hope to see a lot of you on this road trip...you..my friends...mean a lot to me.
