Light Weight? Compared to who...

People were talking about Sarah being a lightweight...she is a giant compared to Obama. I am not overly enthusiastic about her connections with the religious right wing but I will crawl in bed with them at the drop of their shoes if that is what it takes to save the republic...and then fight their agenda later. Sarah has the right idea about the Tea Party...."Palin suggested the movement should remain leaderless and cautioned against allowing it to be defined by any one person." I certainly concur. What we are doing is gathering strength of voting numbers that will get rid of the thieves and socialists in congress and replace them with fresh faces who we hope understand that a country cannot possibly spend its way to prosperity.

But we have to take back congress before we can get this to happen....

Sunday Morning Coming Down

It is five in the morning and I have not been to bed yet...but I am happy to tell you that the runner is home safe and will be around for another turn at bat. My thanks to all of you for your concern and prayers. It was a long night...

Well folks today is Super Bowl Sunday! The Colts are favored from what I can see...but if I was a gambler...which I am but not on sports...I would take the Saints and the points. Why? Well, Obama is going to speak at the game I hear and the word is out that there is at least one zebra bought by the left wing. And of course I keep hearing that the Saints "deserve it" because of the hardships suffered in New Orleans...hmmmm. WTF ever happened to may the best team win? Same thing that happened to elections...and that is how we got Obama speaking at the game? Damn I hope I heard wrong about that...fuck up a whole ball game....

I am going to try to snatch a couple of hours sleep...may not be able to after all the jumpstart I have consumed. But I will go lie down with the knowledge that one crisis is over although there are still some problems. And best of all I will go to sleep knowing my angel of the morning loves me. I will be blogging again next week...maybe even later today. Y'all come back, heah?

Good Afternoon Blog World

Sorry about being late getting a post up folks...slept in late for a change then sweetthing wanted me to take her to Tampa to see her sister who is in the rehab section of a nursing home recovering from a serious cancer operation.

I did scan the news and this bit about Obama trying to cheer up the dim-a-crits caught my eye.

The last paragraph made me smile....

It is still touch and go and I am still talking to my creator about life's umpires. But my angel of the morning tells me she loves me and I am still taking life one day at a time. Y'all come, heah?

It is another Friday.

The only thing that is keeping the double digit unemployment rate is government spending. And this cannot go on forever. The Obama administration refuses to get off the path towards socialism and try to do what is needed to convince business to expand...

I have a lot of friends who are small business owners...and they all tell me the same thing. If the bills that Obama is pushing pass they will have no choice but to reduce their labor force and some say that it will just force them to close down. One would think that Obama and his socialist goons would take a look at what is happening around the world...

Every stock market on the globe is in a dive because of the socialist idea that governments can spend its way to prosperity. If this keeps up it will be a world wide depression instead of a recession and Obama is going to get the blame...as he should.

Life and Curve Balls

Life can throw us some curve balls sometimes. About the time we get used to all fast balls straight up the middle that we can handle here comes a change-up or a damn slider. Just happened to me a few minutes ago...nothing I want be able to handle...hell so far I have learned to just swing away until I connect and if I don't then I just get over striking out and wait til next time at bat.

Is it not somewhat amazing how we Americans use base ball terminology to describe to describe our emotions and our lives...getting to third base...home run...struck out...curve ball...home free

all of the above.

I say this to you because I may have a loss of someone close to me within a couple of days. It is touch and go now (another phrase from baseball) and even if there is survival it may be a long fly ball. All I can do is hope for the best.

The shit and wit here may be short or non-existant for the next couple of days because I am going to be spending a lot of time in the dugout talking to the manager about life's umpires. But I will be back regardless...so y'all come, heah...

It was entertainment night at the Senior Center and over 300 Seniors came to see the show.

Claude the hypnotist exclaimed: "I'm here to put you into a trance; I intend to hypnotize each and every member of the audience."

The excitement was almost electric as Claude withdrew a beautiful antique pocket watch from his coat "I want you each to keep your eye on this antique watch. It's a very special watch. It's been in my family for six generations."

He began to swing the watch gently back and forth while quietly chanting, "Watch the watch, watch the watch, and watch the watch ..."

The crowd became mesmerized as the watch swayed back and forth, light gleaming off its polished surface. Hundreds of pairs of eyes followed the swaying watch, until, suddenly, it slipped from the hypnotist's fingers and fell to the floor, breaking into a hundred pieces.

"SHIT!" said the Hypnotist.

It took three days to clean up the Senior Center.

As usual the democrats can't pour a gallon of piss into an open top five gallon bucket using a funnel with out getting it on their shoes. So who does Obama blame? The nasty republican petty obstruction of course. He fails to mention that the democrats have the majority in both the house and the senate and could pass any fucking bill they wanted to pass with out the help of the GOP. But they can't because the democrats spend more time infighting than they do doing a gotdam thing constructive. But of course Obama has an answer for that too...

The president said lawmakers should do more business in the public eye; tell voters honestly that some problems will take a long time to solve; stop listening to cable TV shows that obsess about Washington's politics; make a case for health care reform without getting bogged down by insider minutia, and call out Republicans when gamesmanship holds up votes.

Another one of those times it would be funny if the sumbitchwas not dead serious. DAMN!

And of course the new senator from Kennedy Land is why Obama is pushing and blaming the GOP. He just don't get it yet...he can't see that the voters are telling congress to stop the Obama bullshit or look for a new job. Obama can't swing to the center or he will lose his commie supporters...in short looks like he is FUCKED! Good.

On the surface it looks like Obama is trying to compromise with the GOP on an energy bill. But then when you look at it it is more gotdam left wing lies and hypocrisy. Instead of going after the natural gas that is already a clean burning and abundant resource he talks about developing new technology to burn coal. Why? Well, can you spell U N I O N my friends? Damn right a lot of new jobs and every damn one of them a union job. Oh, and most of this coal is located in closed shop states that supported Obama...politics as usual? And of course when the GOP refuses to bend over he will blame them for obstructing.

The biggest oil export in S. American and there is an energy crisis? And he goes to Cuba for help? Talk about the blind leading the blind. Well, the way Obama is pushing it will not be long before this country will be going to Cuba for advise on how to stop dissent...right now it is just telling us not to listen to those cable TV pundits...but I sincerely believe that Obama would do what Castro did if he thought he could get by with it...it is the typical socialist thought...the end justifies the means.

Good Morning Blog World...or is it?

I really don't have any personal problems with gays openly serving in the military. However there are some who will strongly disagree and I do have some concerns about how it will affect morale. Some other concerns were listed in the liked article....

But I do believe that there are a lot more important issue right now for the White House to be worrying about and I believe that there are a couple of reasons this is in the news right now...first to take the spotlight off of Obama's failures and second to satisfy his far left supporters.

One thing that Obama should be worrying about a hell of a lot more than a "wink and wave" military is the administration's top intelligence officials report that the country will be attacked by al-Qaeda within the next six months!

And another reason I say the gays in the military issue is a smoke screen is this business page in the online Washington Post. The American economy is in shambles and the much touted growth last quarter was nothing more than business...or at least some business...replenishing inventory. Unemployment is in double figures and the only reason there is not stagflation is that the Fed is holding interest rates at the lowest point in years. If China balks on loans to the USA which it is already threatening to do the Fed will have no choice but to up interest rates and once they begin to climb look for a rapid increase in inflation as well. I tell you once again that no nation has ever been able to spend its way to prosperity and taxing and over regulating the ones who are prosperous will only cause more damage.

Now, do you want to ask me again why I buy all the precious metal I can afford when I can find it? I hope I am wrong but it has happened to every other country that incurred more debt than it could pay...and a magazine of .45acp would buy more than a wheelbarrow full of money. And Obama and his socialists seem dead set on it happening here.

No, I am not in the best of moods this morning...it was a rough day yesterday and last night was damn near a sleepless night. And reading MSM instead of the funny papers was not a good idea. Oh hell the funnies are not funny any more anyway. And if the situation was not so dire one could set back and laugh at Obama's fuckups.
But not to worry...I will get over it..I always do. My angel of the morning told me early early this morning that she loved me and that always gives me hope that the future is not as dire as it seems sometimes. Finally! Yes now even the NY Times Writers are beginning to see that deficit spending will eventually destroy the republic. About gotdam time that the MSM woke up and realized that. Obama knows that also and said as much in a speech at West Point yet he sends a budget to congress requesting a $1.56 Trillion dollar deficit....why? The only reason I can see is that he wants to bankrupt the republic and end American influence around the earth. The progressive movement has been working o this for decades and now they are seeing the fruits of their labor. They have brainwashed their kool ade drinking followers into believing that their is a free lunch
and that the 'Nanny State' will provide it...I am going out looking for precious metal this morning...some more full meta jackets and you had best do the same.

This article exposes the fallacy of Obama's rules of engagement in Afghanistan. If this was a war worth winning air strikes would be called in and the village burnt to the ground taking out the Taliban and giving fair warning to the next village that the same will happen to them if they harbor the Taliban. Either fight to win or get the fuck out! There is just no way the allied forces can win the way it is being fought now...if the Afghans want to be free from the Taliban they can be..hell they kicked out the commies not all that long ago and they could do the same to the Taliban. But they will not because the majority of the country appears to be Taliban supporters. Once again I say bring the troops home and then use air power to strike at the Taliban...a cruise missile up a radical mullah's ass will do more to stop the terrorists than wasting hundreds of allied lives.

First of all why would Obama want to meet with the Dalia Lama? It was a mistake to even consider it. And now Obama has to decide if such a meeting is worth risking China cutting off his monay supply...and China has already warned him it could happen. I still believe that giving them California and calling it even is the best solution...the two deserve each other. It is a balmy 63F on the central Florida Gulf coast this morning. The warmest morning of the winter thus far. Damn it feels good to be sitting here without wearing a sweater. Dam it feels good to just be sitting here! The jumpstart is hot and strong, the cackleberry went down okay and my angel of the morning has told me loves me...life is good my friends. And I am going out to watch the day break and tell my creator thanks. Y'all come back, heah?

I don't know whether to just buy more lead or to sell what I have and immigrate to some country that understands that government cannot spend the country to prosperity.
Obama has sent a $3.83 trillion dollar budget proposal to congress...which includes a $1.56 trillion deficit. Now for you that might have problems grasping this it means that Obama is asking congress to spend $1.56 trillion dollars more than it has to spend. Damn near half of the budget will depend on borrowed money. Just how much longer can this go on?

And you might take a look at his revenue raising proposals...yeah tax energy producers..there goes the price of gasoline again! And of course tax the rich...the ones who are providing what jobs there are left in this country. Yeah, hit the small independent business man for another 25,000 a year...and he lays off at least one employee.

People, I have been there and done that! Business operates on a profit margin
generally figured as a percentage of capital invested. When government takes a bigger bite via taxes and/or regulation business either tries to raise prices to you, the consumer to make up the difference, or takes other action to keep the profit margin and most of the time that action is laying off employees and asking those left to produce more if they plan on keeping their jobs. And the final results of the tax increases and regulations is the business ether closing down or moving off shore.

Look, there are several ways to get this stalled economy moving but raising taxes and spending trillions of dollars that we don't have to spend is not part of those ways. How about a national right to work law? How about passing a law shelving the gotdam energy and health care bills for 10 years at least..and then making the Bush tax cuts permanent so businees will have some fucking idea on what is going to happen. And how about putting handcuffs on the enviro-Nazis? How about letting the energy companies go after and produce the oil and gas that they know is available instead of throwing a road block in front of them every time they try it?

But this is not going to happen under Obama. He and his commie handlers are dead set on destroying this republic and the best way to do it is convince the public that he is spending us into economic collapse for our own good. See, the fallacy of Keynesian economics is that the theory never determines who is gonna pay for the free lunch....
