Charles Krauthammer is one of the few voices of logic in MSM now days...a man whose writing is to the point and is based on logic...and in the linked article he doesn't pull punches...

Then why does Obama and his kool ade drinkers refuse to call a spade a spade..or as I call them a raghead a raghead...is it because Obama sympathizes with the raghead terrorist movement? Hmmmm...everything seems to point that way...

It is another wet day in St Johns but is supposed to clear this afternoon. The temperature is well below average here this summer...shoots another hole in that global warming theory, huh? I hope Al Gore freezes on a gotdam iceberg...

But life is still wonderful...my angel hugged me and told me she loved me and made my day once again...and I let her know in words and actions that I love and cherish her. Life is just too damn short to live it without this kind of love. Y'all come, heah?

Good Morning Blog World


It appears that the Obama administration is dead set on destroying the republic one way or another. He has refused to enforce immigration law and now his justice (or should we call it injustice) department is suing Arizona because the people of Arizona are tired of illegal immigrants overrunning their state and have passed a law to try to stop them. The USA is the only country on this earth that not only allows illegal immigration but provides such law breakers with FREE medical care, public schools, and access to ALL of the available social programs. The fact is that the millions of illegal immigrants cost the American taxpayer billions each year...and that is not counting the jobs that illegals are taking from Americans. The question in my mind now is "WHAT ARE WE THE VOTERS GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?" I know what I will do...I am voting for a candidate who promises to enforce the current federal immigration law...and/or promises to pass and enforce immigration law at the state level...how about you?

The Wall Street bankers have found out the hard way about democrats...they are not to be trusted no matter how much money you give them. Heh, just hope they understand that the republicans are the same way. I have come to the conclusion that congress is open to the highest bidder but if you get the bid you might find that the "Mona Lisa" you thought you bought is actually "Alfred E Neuman" in drag.

It is a good day for ducks in St John's...blowing light rain and 45F degrees...a good day to just kick back with a good book or maybe watch a couple of the movies my angel has collected over the years. We had some plans for the day but they are gonna have to wait until the sun shines. But in any event life is good...the morning coffee has me wired, my angel told me she loved me and I cherish every minute I have with her, and the grill is hot enough for my morning cackleberry. Just wish I had some grits. Y'all come, heah?

Happy Birthday USA !!!!!



Today is the FOURTH OF JULY! I have started and deeleted this post several times...I keep wanting to teach a history lesson. I decided to just tell you it is to me the most important holiday of the year...the day that celebrates the birth of a new nation that offered it citizens something new to the world...FREEDOM! Freedom was not free then nor now and it has been thus far preserved by those who have sworn to live free or die.

The Declaration of Independence signed on this day in 1776 is in my mind the most important document every written and signed in the history of mankind. It was the beginning of freedom from oppressive governments and its tenets have been adopted by most of the countries of the western world.





IN CONGRESS, JULY 4, 1776
The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America

When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.

He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their Public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.

He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected, whereby the Legislative Powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.

He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.

He has obstructed the Administration of Justice by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary Powers.

He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.

He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.

He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Power.

As most of you know I am now in St John's Newfoundland...taking advantage of the freedom the Declaration of Independence did for me. My angel and I have no big celebration plans for today...it will be our usual Sunday with a Jiggs dinner and maybe a walk to the park. But I did explain to her about American Independence Day and what it means to me and many fellow Americans.

Life is great my friends and wonderful when you are sharing it with one you love and who loves you. The jumpstart was especially good this morning...and a cackleberry or two is in the making. Y'all come, heah?

Good Morning Blog World


Looks like I-Phone is doing what the shamans have been doing since there have been shamans... making money out of religion. And of course making money off avid atheists and bible thumping Christians is not hard to do...all you have to do is tell each that you need the bucks to fight the other! The irony is that neither have a logical leg to stand on...both beliefs are based on faith that they are right.

I have rejected both beliefs...I am a Deist...my logic tells me that there is a supreme being...I call her my creator. I have no doubt that the creator has a plan...and I make no claim to knowing that plan. I found the same that Voltaire found several years before I had even heard of Voltaire: "The very impossibility in which I find myself to prove that God is not, discovers to me his existence." But like Voltaire I also found that my sense of logic rejected the inconsistencies and illogical ideas of virtually ALL organized religions although my logic was not based on the same as Voltaire. I just found that religion and shamans wanted to control me and my very thought process and I believe first and foremost in my god given rights...not those afforded me by the religious shamans.

In any event the arguments, however illogical, will continue. The shamans want the power over the public and the atheists resist and sometimes I do believe they want the same. And all we deists is our freedom of...AND FROM...religion.

It is another beautiful day in St John's Newfoundland. We are just kicking back this morning...relaxing and thinking about a hike later today if the weather holds. My angel told me she loved me when I woke...an hour after she did...and as always started my day right. The jumpstart has me a bit wired and I just took my second dip of some HIGH DOLLAR Skoal...damn I gotta make it last. Y'all come, heah?

The sad shape of the American K-12 education system is starting to show...factories are hiring but have found a critical shortage of qualified applicants. Many of us have been complaining about this for years. Even back 10 years ago at least half who applied for a job with my company could not even complete the employment application form I used...and apparently it is worse now. People, teaching self esteem is great but self esteem does not bring home a paycheck...

I certainly agree that the American immigration system needs to be overhauled but I disagree with any amnesty program.

Amnesty has been tried and failed miserably...it only encouraged more illegal immigration. There is a way to stop illegal immigration... JUST ENFORCE THE CURRENT FEDERAL LAW! Moreover, those who hire and/or abet illegal immigration should be prosecuted. Any place that gives sanctuary to illegal aliens should be somehow prosecuted...cities should have state and federal dollars cut off and churches that do so should have their real estate taxed! Know illegals should be deported...within 72 hours! Tough? Damn right...but either we just open the borders and say come on in and take us over or we GET TOUGH! It is time to stop the political correct bull shit.

We braved some austere weather conditions and attended a Canada Day celebration on George Street in St John's Newfoundland yesterday. We watched several hours of local entertainers...some were great, some not so good, and one sounded like some animal in heat. I took a few pictures but the sky was so dark they are going to need some serious editing before I can use them...if ever. We did avail ourselves to fish and chips at "Jungle Jim's"...good food as always but a bit pricy...we were a few minutes late for the 'two for one' lunch special...damn.

Looks like it is going to be a good weekend for a nature trail hike and maybe a visit to the Fluvarium. But in any event, I am enjoying life in St John's. My angel hugged me and told me she loved me first thing this morning...made my day again. Y'all come, heah?

Today is CANADA DAY...a day that celebrates the forming of Canada...

"Frequently referred to as "Canada's birthday", particularly in the popular press,[1][2][3] the occasion marks the joining of the British North American colonies of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and the Province of Canada into a federation of four provinces (the Province of Canada being divided, in the process, into Ontario and Quebec) on July 1, 1867. Canada became a kingdom in its own right on that date,[4][5][6] but the British Parliament kept limited rights of political control over the new country that were shed by stages over the years until the last vestiges were surrendered in 1982 when the Constitution Act patriated the Canadian constitution."

Newfoundland did not join the Canadian Confederation until 1949...there are some here who remember being citizens of the UK. However most I have spoken with are proud to be Canadians as well as proud of their "Newfie" heritage.

The Canada Day celebrations started will continue last night and will continue full blast until late tonight including cook outs, parades, and fireworks. My angel and I plan to enjoy the day...maybe with a stroll downtown to "George Street" where there will be entertainment provided by local bands...and if we can find a place to sit we might have my favorite meal of fish and chips for dinner.

I am enjoying life in St John's. My angel told me who loved me and I let her know everyday by words and actions that I adore her. I am on my third mug of jumpstart...and thinking about a cackleberry for brunch...just wish I could buy some grits here, heh. Y'all come, heah?
